The offer was $2,700 per NMA and 20% royalty.
Dale, I think you are right, I think they may even have overlapping employees, collecting a paycheck from both companies

My personal opinion is if you shake hands with them, count your fingers before and afterward. So, in a word, NO!

I would say that was a pretty pitiful offer for that area.
I always did like water lots.
I ask myself, why is the water there? Because it's the low spot, and there is a very good chance that it was a low spot a million years ago too and the oil bearing strata could be 2 to 3 times as thick as it is 10 miles away from that point. I would say that everything within 10 miles of your sections looks pretty good to me. I know, crazy talk! I do that sometimes.
I suppose if I had time I could confirm this through checking well logs, a sampling from a 10 mile radius to see if the elevations of the formations reported from your well differ significantly from those of wells in a sampling of a ten mile radius, but who has time these days?
I also always liked Brighams competence as an operator in the drilling and completing phase, and I don't think Statoil has changed that part. I wish they were drilling my wells.

Thanks for the extremely helpful feedback.
Is there a place where I can find out what each producing well in an area is producing month to month ? Thx in advance
