They must be late on their reporting. Thanks much for trying.
M, Have not heard any results in 36 27 11. We are waiting on gas line installation.
RH,
Interested to hear how that well comes in… They spudded our sec 19 last weekend, and are set to spud 25-27-11 on Nov 7th which is directly N of 36. Finally drilling in the NE Cherokee unit, looks like the whole area has been really good. SD has a huge well on 12-27-11…
Hello I have interest on a Chesapeake well, Juletta 35-27N-12W, and am wondering if there has been any news that they would drill again on that section at all.
There are no new filings on 35 . There are filings around you ,but now that Chesapeake has 35 held by production they don’t need to be in any hurry .
They are drilling on ours now 4-27-11
Thanks for the info Ron, Im sure they are working on their expiring leases first, just like they did ours, drilled it the last month of the lease.
M, Who is drilling up there, I found out that although Sandridge filed for spacing in 30 27 10 they have no current plans to drill as they dont have enough acres. 31 27 10 has been staked for a month but no action
RH
Chesapeake is drilling all 3 of our sections in the unit… 19 27 10, 25 27 11, and 24 27 11, by the end of the year,… guess they made some kind of deal with Linn.
Just found out Chesapeake has a double well pad with rat hole rig on 31 27 10. They seem to have really picked up around Cherokee.
Yes they have, looks like 3-4 rigs in close proximity to one another…
Mr Wheeler
Just how do you get the info that shows 3-4 rigs really close. I like to know as I live in South texas and haven’t got a chance to drive up there. I do really like the updates that you give out.
David, You can look at the Oklahoma Corporation site, and see when the wells are spud by searching the new well database, and looking at the documents by section. You can also find a township and range map of Alfalfa County on the web. From spud to first sales is 50 days according to the guy I talked with at Chesapeake, the initial drilling part is around 3 weeks… I will be in Cherokee this weekend and will check things out.

Good Morning
Any luck going to cherokee this last weekend. to check 4-26-11 I have not gotten toi the web site yet.
David,
I went down there, did not notice a rig up at 4-26n-11w. But was a little east of of there, so they could of been setting it up. The permit/Intent to drill was posted on the corp commission on 10/21. But no notice of well spud yet on your section on the corp commission site. Probably be soon though. Looked like they had pads ready for rigs on 25-27-11, 23-27-11, and I believe 31-27-10. They were drilling on 19-27-10, supposed to be done by the end of the week… Looked like they were fracking 22-27-10. Lots of activity in our area…
JUST WANTED TO SAY THANKS FOR THE UPDATE BUT THERE WAS A RIG DRILLING ON THE PLACE A COUPLE OF WEEKS AGO. ANY INFO YOU GET WOULD BE GREAT. wE ARE GOING UP IN A FEW WEEKS.
ANY GOOD NEWS ON 4-26-11 SOUNDS LIKE IT ALL GETTING PRETTY HOT UP THERE.
