Block 13 Section 27

I received my DO from Luxe last Saturday !!!

Fred, My DO from Luxe is on a section that Jones Energy had. A small NPRI. I also have a small interest in 3 sections next door with Centennial. Should I also be expecting another DO?

I have no Idea if you should expect another DO… I received a call from LUXE today indicating they were working on plans for a long lateral with a DO. I am in C-18 Sec 4 SE/4, W/2, PSL Hopefully the DO will tell me what is going on. My lease is up on Oct 27th so they will extend it on operations for drilling. Are your lands PSL as well. All the best, Fred

Thanks Lynn. Point well taken!

We have about 40 acres in Block 13 Section 301. We have a lease with Diamondback at 25% that expires in January if not renewed (January of 2021 if renewed) To date, the best offer to purchase has been $20K pnma. Looking for information on both lease value pnma should the opportunity arise to renegotiate and purchase value. We own the 80 acres of the surface rights.

We also have 60 acres in Block 1 Section 189. To date, we have been offered $25K pnma to purchase. It is leased by Concho and a drilling permit has been granted. It has held by production because of a Clayton Williams vertical that was drilled earlier in the decade (that well alone is now owned by Noble). We don’t plan on selling but are curious about the offer.

Joshua, I suggest contacting Wade Caldwell. He is an amazing negotiator. Helen

Thank you; I will remember that name.

You can get quite a bit more than 20 pnma. My two cents based on what I sold for last year and what is being offered now. Good luck! See Lawrence’s post 50K nma coming to Permian!

Thank you. I see that Ol’ Lawrence has a lot of info about Reeves Co.

I agree with Helen…Wade has lots of experience here in Reeves and Ward County.

I agree aslo… talked too Mr Caldwell a few times. A very honest man…

Clint, I have the land next to this well. Block 13 Section 267. We received an unsolicited offer for $2000 recently but feel it is low. In my very uneducated opinion, it looks like there is active drilling all around me. Does this help to increase the amount I might get for a lease bonus? And can you help me figure out exactly how much drilling is going on around me with what kind of resukts? Would be much appreciated. This is all new to me!

Hi Clint,

Can you send me a picture of Section 19; Block 7 H&GN RR Co. Survey - Abstract 39?

In Sept. 2017 two horizontal wells were drilled (3 months before my lease was to expire) by Parsley.

The horizonal wells are on Sections 7, 19, 30 and named Ligon 730-19-4305h; Ligon 730-19-4307h

I read a company might want to buy out Parsley.

Thank you.

Note: This is my first time posting on this website. Please excuse any errors.

Hi Clint,

Just in case I didn’t previously thank you for this map, THANK YOU!

I thought the 2 horizontal wells were supposed to go across 3 sections: 7, 19, 30 On the map I don’t see section 7 It looks like the wells are in 2 sections.

I never could figure out how these sections are numbered. It looks like section 22 is the right and section 72 and 17 are to the left.

Thanks again!

Lynn, Does your rule-of-thumb calculation [1 barrel/SF] apply to the sum total of all the layers combined, or is it for only 1 layer? Jaw dropping number either way.
