hopefully the production in the area doesn't end at Section 14 and will also be in in your Section 25. Good luck with your minerals. Hope you get some good producing wells within time. Monthly royalty checks are nice.

Does anyone spend the money to do a geological study of their mineral rights. With so much money on the line what can one do to be proactive? thanks

Louis if you will track the quarterly reports of the area operators near your property, you will be able to get a good idea of activitiy and successes.

Anadarko and Shell are the co-owners of the lease and Anadarko is servicing the area. How do I check on the activity and successes? thanks for your help

Google the company's websites. Once there, go to the "Investor" section and look for the most recent Presentation. Also, be on the lookout for quarterly release dates and on line access to same. You will be able to listen to the company discussing its activities. Archive section can access old reports often.
