Thanks.
Do you have a copy of a Pugh clause and a depth clause?

Cindy, not much activity there for a while. No new permits, not any current OCC hearings. Hang in there, something may happen someday.
They are paying about the same amount for the liquids coming off the gas as they are for oil, so that is a good thing. What section township and range are you? Lots of 17’s in Caddo. Then we can help answer a little better. Different reservoirs have different products.
New to forum. Any activity on Sec 22 -9N -12W? We had Todco Properties persuing us for several months, then he just dropped all contact. Also have Sec 16 - 9S - 12W mineral rights. Been offered $500/acre on that piece. Finally, have Sec 1 - 8N -12W with its lease expiring early next year. Would appreciate any info on these properties.
Here is the completion report for the Devon horizontal Hoxbar well in Sec 27-9n-9w. It’s nothing to brag about.
I have a well that is currently producing liquid gas for three years now . I have recently darted looking at the statements and it looks like they are two days of drilling as opposed to the 30 to 60 days. Checks are the same amount though. Section 17 6n 11w Any thoughts out ther?
Here is an article on a Pugh Clause
http://www.mineralweb.com/owners-guide/lease-proposals/pugh-clause/
My depth clause reads:
As to expiration of the primary term, this lease shall terminate as to all depths 100’ below the deepest production.
Good to talk to an attorney about the Pugh Clause
New to this forum but wondering if anyone is aware of activity in Section 25 of Caddo County, specifically price per net acre and bonus amount? Offered lease terms from Turner O/G Prop. for mineral property owned - Section 25-06N-09W. Appreciate any help you can give.

Ann here is permit
Linda, Earlier this year I leased my minerals in Grady county just 4 miles to your NE for $600 acre for 3 years @ 3/16 royalty. EOG Resources is currently drilling a well in Sec 16-6n-8w Grady county, which is also about 4 miles from you. I don’t know of any other activity going on in this area right now. I received a lease offer from Turner on my interest in sec 19-8n-9w Caddo county for $450 acre @ 3/16, I don’t know about your section but Turner has been leasing for Continental in 8n-9w.
Hear is what they were ordered to pay in the pooling for 16-6n-8w .
Scott, is EOG drilling a horizontal shale?
Ann, thanks to Ron for posting those permits. As you can see EOG is drilling a horizontal well in the Hoxbar formation. Drilling these horizontal Hoxbar wells is fairly new, it started earlier this year. EOG has drilled a few of these wells in northern Caddo county that had ok results, one came in at 170 bopd and another at 380 bopd. EOG recently drilled one in sec 31-6n-7w in Grady county that is a barn burner it came it at 1,551 bopd. I am keeping my fingers crossed that the well they are currently drilling comes in close to that because my section is next door. If it does come in with that kind of production you can bet that the price of leases in neighboring sections will be going much higher.
As a footnote, in sec 31-6n-7w EOG has drilled a second horizontal well into a different formation, it is being completed right now. So, it is possible that this area will have more than one horizontal play.
I had no idea the Hoxbar ran that deep.
Ron, thanks so much. I just keep getting surprises!!!
Thank you Scott for your response.
New to this group. Received unsolicited Mineral Lease Agreement via mail. (NW/4 of Section 8, Township 9 North and Range 13W ) Caddo County. We live out of State, looking for information about lease bonus ( going rate) in our area as well as drilling activity in our area.
i am a mineral rights owner of property in Caddo county, i live in Texas. Land is a total of 80 acres, located at NE/4 NE/4, sec 23, township 9 north, range 12 west. I checked the Caddo county office and i know the same land company (Golden Land Services) has leased all of the following areas for $500 an acre bonus, 3/16 royalty, for 5 year terms (E/2 SW/4 = 80 acres, SE/4 NE/4 = 160 acres). I am being told by my buddies in the land game in Texas that i need to go after around $1,200 an acre, 1/4 royalty, for no more than a 3 year term, but they are admittedly not in the know of the ins and outs of the play happening in that area of Caddo, so not sure if this is realistic or not. Was hopeful that could gain some insight as to if this is the going rate for leases in that area and also drilling activity in that area.
9N-13W has no leases in the recent history posted. 8N-13W had leases in 2012 and 2011 going for $600 3/16. This part of Caddo is not currently in the $1200 category. Also, rarely get cash with 1/4 royalty, although I have just seen some in Stephens Co for a small amount. The offers are much higher in the SCOOP area for good reason. No wells permitted in the last 999 days in 9N 13W that I could find on a quick look. There hasn’t been much drilling there ever….
First offers are almost always low. Ask them what they are drilling for, who they are leasing for, or just ignore them….
I have a drill producing in sec 17 6n 11w (the NE/4)
3/16th of gross proceeds that was in that $1200 category. I don’t know if this is the scoop your refer too but we had the lease in 2007 and it is still producing
