Canadian County, OK - Oil & Gas Discussion archives

M Barnes,

I have been approved as a user @ Stone Oak on the occ website and did know about the approval of the ITD, I also am aware of the website to check a public pun search. I wonder if there are more sites that you may be aware of for me to follow more closely. I understand Stone Oak is a new company and can't get anywhere on their site yet. Thank you for your help today. Kurt

Kurt,

Stone Oak has a permit to re-complete in the Oswego, Mississippi and Hunton reservoirs. The permit is good until May 1 of 2018. This is a vertical well, so not that exciting. However, there is horizontal drilling all around you, so this may be a test for those zones. That would be more exciting. Yes, there is plenty of room to drill more wells.

http://imaging.occeweb.com/OG/Well%20Records/0054E2A1.pdf. This is the permit. I do not see a spud date yet which would be the start of the re-complete. Since the well is already drilled, they just go in and pull some of the old equipment and re-perforate in the new places. Shorter than drilling from scratch. The original well had 107 bold and 650 cubic feet of gas per day back in 1980.

M Barnes,

Thank you for your correspondence, I look forward to getting and giving updates in the future. For now I will look for a spud date prior to May 1 of 2018, and hope it to be a successful test for horizontal drilling in the future. That in itself is very exciting to our family!

Anybody have any news on the Devon RHINO 8_5-14N-9W 1HX? Continuing to get lots of offers for ORRI but as far as I can tell there is no completion report yet.

Wondering if there is any interest in drilling around 34-13n-10w? We've had a couple of old wells on there that are run by Cimarex, Chesapeake and Kingfisher. Used to get a little check from Chesapeake each month but haven't received a check from them in over 6 months. We still get a check from Cimarex monthly. There are horizontal wells in all the sections surrounding this one, how do we get someone to come develop it?

Considering that the section to the west of you has 10 wells, I think you will get some action eventually. Cimarex is holding your section by the first well. Little 1-34H. That well is doing just fine, so they are not in a hurry to develop the acreage until they drill out their leasehold that is in danger of expiring. You are in excellent Woodford territory, so probably just a matter of time. You might go online and look up their investor presentations and see where their focus is now. The Q4 reports usually come out in February.

Does anyone know when Jones Energy will begin drilling in Section 30 and 31 township 12 Range 5 West? 1 Horizontal well.

just received notice also that they may be also drilling in Section 31 township 12 Range 5 into Section 6 township 11 Range 5. Looks like 2 horizontal wells. Just received some filings.

John

It looks like the reg filings are still pending, you can go to the occ website and enter the reg numbers below to track the progress. http://imaging.occeweb.com/

To summarize, Filing# 201706919 for a multi-unit filed 10/13/2017, filing# 201706921 for a location exc, were filed in October but continued, they filed a new multi: 201800212 for a multi, 201800213 for a loc exp, and 201800216 for increased density on 1/9/2018 and the hearing is scheduled for Monday the 30th.

the permit was filed and approved on 1/11/2018 - so it would seem they are just waiting on the regulatory filings.

1099-MISC lists Box 2 Royalties amount, then below the form lists "Additional Information" with "LESS PIPELINE/TRANSPORTER/PURCHASER COSTS" with an amount; "LESS STATE AND MISCELLANEOUS TAXES" with an amount; then "EQUALS NET ROYALTY INTEREST" with an amount which is about 75% of the Gross Royalty amount list on the 1099-MISC form. Question is: Are these amounts normal and/or reasonable for Royalties and can these "additional amounts" be deducted as losses or something on Income tax returns?? Thanks all input.

Anyone else receive boomslang's ridiculous mailer saying "$29,000" an acre offer to purchase minerals? a few of my relatives called in regards to this mailer and that's just their gimmick to get people to call back. Very shady company that I will never do business with. I hate to bad mouth a company but ive only heard bad things about this group

We received the same $29K letter. Boomslang's previous letters looked scammy so we didn't reply to this one. Thanks for posting.

this landman says my mineral lease is in sect. 8 11N 10W is there a place? thank you!

1. Does anyone have any knowledge of drilling in Section 32-11N-8W in the SW corner of Canadian County? If so, I'd like to know the status of the well. Spud Date was May 23, 2017. OCC website says the permit to drill expired in Nov. Well name is VICKREY 1H-32-5.

I own mineral rights in Grady County that were pooled with this section. . Now I'm receiving numerous offers to sell. Latest offer is $13,500. Is that enough?

Sure would help to know status of the well before making a decision about selling.

Anyone hear when drilling may begin in section 19 13N 6W Canadian county?

Jeffery,

you gave me a link to look up activity on some wells.

http://imaging.occeweb.com/ Not able to use. I have the cause cd nos. but do not know which drop down to use and what other info I must put in. I tried everything but could not pull up anything.

John

Found a message by Mr Barnes and it told someone to click on OPA and then the case no. That worked great.

Thanks

Mr Barnes and Jeffery

What is 'OPA' ?

Go to http://imaging.occeweb.com/ and find OPA and put your case number in and it will give you all the info on that well.

Oh, you really meant OAP, which is Office of Administrative Proceedings.

Thanks.

Kent, yes you are correct.

Thanks,

John
