Carter County, OK - Oil & Gas Discussion archives

Daniel,

My brother talked to a XTO man yesterday and he was told that that rig was moving east. So hopefully they will be here someday soon.

Jeff,

I thought the rig had to move WEST to get to your pad.

Daniel,

It did need to move West. I just meant that we hope to see them here sometime in the future. I don’t think they have applied for permits here yet.

The gravel is now down on the 4-4s-2e pad. A friend in the area said they worked 24/7. Looking for a rig to get on the site.

Looks like Cactus 129 might be moving very soon. It is South of Dickson.

From the data I received today, it looks like both Felderhoff 28 and Cactus 129 are both on the move. I hope they know where my pad is:)

no I haven’t heard anything I don’t think so they have 3 tanks setting there and a lot of pipe but it just extra supplies

THEY ARE GETTING READY TO LAY A OIL GATHERING PIPE LINE FROM SPRINGER TO MADILL TO GATHER OIL FROM WELL SITES THIS WILL HELP TAKE SOME OF SEMI TRUCKS OFF OUR COUNTY ROADS WE JUST SIGNED A EASEMENT AND RIGHT OF WAY WITH BKEP PIPELINE LLC

That’s going to be quite a job. I wonder if that means they will nolonger need tanks on the pads. Maybe the pads in the future will be smaller.

Terry,

Have you heard what XTO is going to do at Springer? Are they going to build a few big storage tanks on their property there?

I noticed a Location Exception request on the well I’ve been waiting XTO to drill, since early August.

Here is the request.

What I don’t know is section 9. Allowable what does these section mean.

Ron,

I was looking at these wells yesterday and it looks like these are the last wells XTO has completed, late Nov '12, based on completion reports.

Carter: XTO Energy Inc.; McCarty No. 2-1H36 Well; NW1/4 NE1/4 NE1/4 NE1/4 (BHL) of 36-03S-02E; 3,452,000 cu-ft gas per day, 145 barrels oil per day; TD 19,227.

XTO Energy Inc.; McCarty No. 3-1H36 Well; NE1/4 NW1/4 NE1/4 NE1/4 (BHL) of 36-03S-02E; 4,346,000 cu-ft gas per day, 183 barrels oil per day; TD 19,260.

XTO Energy Inc.; McCarty No. 4-1H36 Well; NW1/4 NW1/4 NE1/4 NE1/4 (BHL) of 36-03S-02E; 4,785,000 cu-ft gas per day, 180 barrels oil per day; TD 19,322.

XTO Energy Inc.; McCarty No. 5-1H36 Well; NW1/4 NE1/4 NW1/4 NE1/4 (BHL) of 36-03S-02E; 4,008,000 cu-ft gas per day, 194 barrels oil per day; TD 19,532.

Any well over 2000 MCF , I think it is, has an allowable rate of production , like 80% of open flow ( no choke ).

I noticed today that XTO is asking for increase density in section 28 3S 3E for 8 more wells. The current well, DENNIS 1 28H completion report showed around 200 BOD and 3300 MCF at 28/64 choke.

I noticed that XTO is asking to drill 8 wells in sect 28 3S 3E into sect 21.

RD Williams, of Ardmore, is also active in the area.

Thanks Daniel

We received an offer to buy our mineral interest in Sec 23-5S-3W today from Ferrell Oil Co. They offered $2000 per NMA. We will not be accepting it. Has anyone leased to or had experience with Smith and Redhead?

There where 9 leases in 2012 in your seciton and I don’t recall any of them being with the firms you named. I’ll check again and if there is a change I’ll post again.
