Is this report good? I am not sure if the test gas flow on the report is 10,000 cubic feet per day or 10,000,000 cubic feet per day. I have 187 acre interest in the Wilkinson McElroy units and have suddenly gotten 2 huge offers to purchase my interests. I figure they know something I don't know, and am trying to find out what is going on with Production and Operations there. I thought that there was a chance that Breitburn might drill some more wells, but it looks like they are trying to get a better handle on current potential production from the existing 4 wells
Rex,
Welcome to M R Forum.
The Daily Volume on the report is 10,592,000 MCF per day. Darn good well. I spoke with Mr Wilkinson a couple of days ago and he's excited at 90 years old....and 2 more wells in the making on his acreage. The Cotton Valley Sand is a good producer here in East Texas.

Thanks Clint. CA Wilkinson is my cousin. He bought his 199 acre tract of land from my grandmother (Linnie Wilkinson) in the 1940's, and she retained half the minerals which have been passed on to me. Same with the old Sam Wilkinson 157 acre tract nearby to the East, another of her nephews.
Any insight as to the nature of the Tanos filings with the RRC on this well where they designated only 60 acres or so out of the Wilkinson Unit, but ALL of the acres in the McElroy Unit?? Does this mean that the Royalties are spread across all of the acreage in both Units, or only the 60 Acres in Wilkinson plus all of the McElroy acreage (600+ acres). I guess this has to do with nature of horizontal drilling??
Rex,
As to the designation of royalties on these units I have no idea.
I think a group of lawyers get together and make these decisions.
