Clint,
I just found out this morning that my lease has had a pump jack up and running for the last 2 months. I have not received anything from the leasee. I plan on calling monday. I talked to the hired guy that checks output he gave me the production number for the day which was 27 barrels of oil and 53 of water. He also stated they were taking it easy right now to keep the hole intact. Is this normal? Should there be completion report filed? Should I be receiving royalties if they have been pumping for 2 months? Thank you in advance for any light you would be able to shed on this for me?
Hey Tim,
If you have the name of the well or the API # I will see if a Completion Report has been filed. It may be six months after initial production before you receive your first royalty check. Be patient. Who is the operator/producer? I can't blame them for taking it easy with the well at this time with the price of oil so low. The well will probably last longer.

Tim,,,,,From what I understand Gunn Oil Co(Wichita Falls, Texas). is one of the better oil companies/producers to do business with as far as honesty.
