Carrizo has an impressive number of leases on the east and west sides of FM2119 north of IH-20 and west of Pecos especially around the old Duvall Sulfur mine. That’s a very active area now not only for Carrizo but Anadarko, Apache, Noble Permian, Colgate, etc. Also along the north and south extensions of Ranch Road 869 where it crosses IH20 west of Pecos. Lots of pipeline activity in those areas as well.
EnWater is gone as a Saltwater Disposal entity, bought out by WaterBridge Solutions, LLC. They have already changed the sign on the SWD on my property.
Clint, I own 150 acres in Block 56, Section 33, Township 7. I see that Apache has filed a memorandum that they have rights to that land till 2032. How is that possible since the lease expired in April 2018?
There are multiple mineral owners in that section. Do you own 100% of the 150 acres or is it owned by several people? Do you own the surface? Is the Apache memorandum regarding a lease or about a surface easement?
We own the surface and mineral rights. Apache has filed a memorandum for numerous blocks in the Alpine High area per the CourthouseDirect Lease that Clint sent out.
Your tract is only one part of the section which includes about 640 acres. DI lists leases with over 20 owners in that section and Apache holds leases with about 8 owners. You need to pull the documents and read the legal descriptions to determine whether they apply to your tract or only to other tracts. Always do your own research to see all the facts.
