Do they take taxes out? I read that tax wise the money is rental income which experiences no withholding.
My family group has MR on sec. 19-20-29-30-31.
Yes, we say, Drill Baby Drill.
FYI: Apache Corp drilling permit:
#30340, T36 R48, Sec 18 sene, (horizontal drilling into Sec 17).
This would be apx. due north of Scobey.
This is approx 5 miles from me (36N-49E). They keep getting closer.
Drill baby Drill
Maybe we will be “unit” buddies. Lol. Wait a minute…that doesn’t sound quite right.
Thanks Billy Bob. Do you know if in fact drilling has started there yet?
We are the opposite corner of township. Sec 1 and other sections of adjoining twps.
It’s also rumored that there are additional spacing units applied for south and east of 4buttes.
What they are saying is up to 16 wells per spacing unit with 8 targeting 3 forks and 8 into the bakken. Some new news is that they are going to target the Ratliff. They must have discovered something with the first well. The last point being Just conjecture on my part.
Hey John our minerals are also 36n 49e. Sections 29 30 31 32
Found an interview with Tallis and Greehey online. Don’t remember where I found it but these were two men very confident about the future production in Daniels county.
Hi all…
I have 320 acres. Signed my lease on May 8th this year. Have received my leasing money. Have not heard from anyone since. Township 36 North Range 46 East…Section 17-20-21. Can anyone help me with any information? Thank You!!
And you probably won’t hear anything until division orders show up in your mailbox. According to Tallis the drilling they are doing is going to be complete. Ie: fully fracked horizontal wells. Like I said in an earlier post they are very confident in this play and as he stated its not a matter of if they hit oil but how much. Exciting times for those of us with minerals in Daniels and Daniels county at large.
They commenced drilling in August near 4 buttes. I would guess that they will complete that first well sometime in November.
plans change and are fluid. They have completed drilling the first well. THe fracing is yet to be completed. They are moving the rig to sec 18 36N 48E. to drill another well. They just drilled one well at the first site. Must be exploring.
Lee, do you know what the Section Township Range was of the first Apache well? Do you know anyone who has been out on the site to see if the well is producing?
Thanks, Austin
hi lee… Are they fracing now?

Yes the first drilling was on sec 24 ,36N,46E. I was told this morning the water delivery system in Scobey was nearing completion and apache would be wanting water for fracking of that drilling on the first well October 22. Monday.
The City of Scobey had a bulk non potabel water station built on the north side of town. It will be used both by ag and oil water users. Kind of a cardtrol system for bulk water.
I hauled some cattle from a pasture near the first well this week and most of the drilling equipment is gone and the start of the water tanks and other fracing stuff is starting to arrive.
After a couple of very windy fall days (60 plus mph windspeed) that hampered errection, the wind has subsided some and I believe they have the derrick up at the second site.
36 North Range 46 East…Section 17-20-21question:… have they drill a well on that section?
Google “Lindley pad Apache oil and gas” and it should come up.
