Man was putting up signs, didn’t get close enough to read, not a very good detectiv e!
Linda it is a Devon, the well was studded January 27th, rig was down by mid March and all of this is still on site as off yesterday’s date
Linda how long should all of this equipment remain?
Deborah,
This equipment will be there till the well is dry.
Deborah
If this is a Devon well then it is a standard setup on the pad.
Deborah,
They are drilling a new well. You check is on hold again.
Deborah,
According to OCC records, they are suppose to be drilling another well in this pad. If they are drilling, they have to shut all the wells down and that puts a hold on all checks till everything is finished. But, remember, if they sold oil or gas, you can ask for 12% interest after 6 months. You will need to check with OCC, I like Junior, find out who is purchasing the oil and gas on your well, then when was the first purchases made. You will need the legal of the property and well name if you have it. Then you write the company an ask for interest.
I am only dreaming I’m sure, but still hopefull on Section 27 21n 3w. A little something is better than nothing. Old Coffey farm corner, the forced sheriff’s sale many years ago, and site when rig was still up. Fingers, toes, legs crossed
Virginia, please explain what you mean by they are drilling a new well, and what that means to holding any production if there was any on section 27, 21n,3w? Where did you find out this info? Appreciate any help as always since you seem to be my advisor. ha.
Virginia, if I understand any part of all this, on section 27, 21n , 3w, they have already spudded the Eason section 26-23 back in February already, is that correct, which is your well, wonder which direction they are going now? Changes daily doesn’t it. Need to follow it full time, and I am wearing thin, ha, literally a matter of speech, believe you me I am not loosing weight from all of this. I have to remind myself it is what it is and Devon is in charge of the ship, not me. Thanks
Deborah,
I’m not sure what date they drilled the 26-23 well, they got permit to drill in Feb, but the permit is good for 6 months. I just checked and nothing has been put on line, but Devon is one of the worst close mouth companies and don’t like to fill out the needed paper work for OCC till they have too. So, don’t worry or lose sleep over it. They will get a check to you when they want to and not before. I had 1 well that I got as much off interest as I did my first check. Took them over 1 1/2 years to get me my first check. It can really mess up your est. tax if you aren’t careful. Now I just pay a lot more than I think I need to and hope I close to what I may owe without penalty. I haven’t keep up with which way they are drilling as we have been at the farm working. I’m sure they wouldn’t keep drilling unless they got a pretty good well, so that part is good.
