Garvin County, OK - Oil & Gas Discussion archives

David Hayes Why did they send you a well proposal ? Have you not leased ? That is fine if you are not, but I thought you would have been by now . I am in 1-3n-5w which is the section next to you north west and they just finished a nice well there 12-3n-5w has several wells in that section ,it is on your west side. I am under 18-3n-4w on your south side and they have a nice well there. So you in a good spot . How many acres do you have ? Do you have a map ?

Michael, I do have dark hair and pudgy cheeks…lol

Cambria never filed anything in Garvin County before last year and since have flipped everything they have bought, but to 4 different companies. So they appear to not be working for any one company.

Or, is there anyone familiar with Texhoma Land Consultants? Who do they work for?

Darla…Do you know if that’s Greg LeNorman or his dad LaWayne? Both are long ago friends of my husband.

Rick - Got it! Appreciate the help.

Joyce I got a well Proposal from Newfield in Aug. 2012 for a multiunit well under 25 & 36-7n-4w which is next to your 30-6n-3w . never heard anything else.

Linda, is LeWayne a rapper? uhhh thats Lil Wayne!

Just received a letter offering to buy my minerals in Sec. 2, 1N 2W from Aegis Energy Partners, LLC out of Colorado. They didn’t give an amount. They want you to call them or send in a slip from the bottom of the page asking for an offer. I might buy minerals but not selling.

Yes Ron it is leased to Jack Fork/Continental. We may need a lawyer for some probate issues. Speaking with Jack Fork today clarified the letter I received from Marathon, so I don’t need a lawyer for that anymore. I would just like to know if and when continental will drill on our section.

Gregory…I do believe you would be in the Scoop. Would that be over around Elmore City?

Lynn, I don’t see anything in those townships. Was the first one 25-3N/3E ?

Are you leased?

Hi Linda, Cambria’s offer is to purchase the mineral rights. So when a well is plugged and abandoned that terminates the lease?

Is 15-2N-1W part of SCOOP? Where can I get more info on activities in section 15?

Hi Ruth, have heard of any interest in drilling in 15-2N-1W?

thanks again for your help, Gregory

Gregory, you are in the oil fairway. I’m not real sure what that means, but I was told it was good. We have been contacted 3 times in the last 3 months, but no one with a serious offer. We have a lease with Eagle Land that expires in August this year.

David have you leased if so why did you want a lawyer ?

I’ll see if Marathon has filed anything.

Great…thanks.

Linda, our section is east of Elmore City, west of Brady and south of highway 29. The exact coordinates from the public land record are,

Gregory,

I think your lease is terminated. The well is no longer held in production.

I have minerals in (SE/4) of Sec25, Tn3N, range 3N, range 2E

and T3N-R3W Sec 36:E/2SE/4

Any good news for me?
