My family and I have mineral rights in Section 2, 16N, 3W and have been approached by a landman representing Blue Dolphin Production LLC. Info on them is scarce, but I find plenty about Blue Dolphin Energy. Are they related and can anyone tell me about Blue Dolphin Production LLC? Do they actually produce or do they buy mineral rights to flip them? Thanks for any insight you can provide.
Hunter - you can call the Oklahoma Corporation Commission and they can at least tell you if they are registered as an operator or just a landman.....405-521-2613
Blue Dolphine LLC is from Edmond OK.They drill and produce wells.The other Blue Dolphine is an offshore producer.The one in Edmond is doing the drilling in Logan, much smaller company.

No, I've only been to TX once, but maybe I'll move down there after I make all this money from leasing my mineral rights...(ha ha).
I know of several land companies that have a operator bond and number in Oklahoma.That would not say much as to if they are fliping or not.If you get a fair price why not lease to a land company,they some times get land drilled that may have not otherwise.Also a lot of work goes into putting some of these deals together.
I have a second cousin with the same name.....just curious!

Just got back from the farms in Oklahoma and it's a nice place, the land is good if only it would rain.
