Kingfisher County, OK - Oil & Gas Discussion archives

Christine In 22-19n-5w they got a well that in 7 months did 52,558 BO . The well was to cost $4,170,000 to drill. They got that back in7 months or less.

Midwest Resources LLC has a few leases in 2013 and 2014.

Gastar has requested 640 acre spacing for the Miss, Woodford and Hunton on May 14, 2014. Looks like they are interested…

Don’t expect lease numbers like the SCOOP.

Can anyone update me on current leasing/drilling in the area around 5W-15N-26 recently? I’m a member of the McClain group and have been monitoring/have acreage there in the Woodford zones but need to know what the temperature is up north. Any help or ranges would be very much appreciated…

I have some stuff in Sec13, 24,25,36- all T15N-R5W does anybody know if theres anything happening in these areas?

Robert, you have older horizontal wells in 24 and 36 you should be getting paid on if you leased or pooled.

Gastar just filed for 640 spacing in 26 for Miss, Woodford and Hunton, so near you.

I am pasting a picture and explanation of spacing for you. See if this helps.

Mr Barnes, Is 640 acre spacing preferred by royalty owners over 320. If so, why or why not.

We’ve had a offer 26-5N-5W for $1,050@1/5th for 3 yrs which seems to be in the ball park for this area — can anyone confirm or agree? Thanks in advance…

Okcnhra is the 5n-5w correct ?

Ron — fat tired fingers on my end — 26-15N-5W ---- left out the “1” in my previous post…

Okcnhra-

You might want to hang on until the pooling hearing. Gastar just filed for spacing for the Woodford and Hunton. Well is planned. Then you will only be tied up for a year, get the best offer out there (mostly) and limited to the Hunton and Woodford. Make sure you are on the pooling notice list!

Scott:

Husky has a new pooling order application (case 201405462) and a location exception application (case 201405464) just filed July 23rd. No intent to drill has been filed yet. I would watch case 201405464 as additional documents are filed to determine the drill location.

I have mineral rights in 20-19n-07w in Kingfisher. I was told by Husky Ventures that they would be drilling next month (August), but I can’t locate any paperwork on OCC. Does anyone have information on whether they have a location and when they will begin drilling?

thank you JW, I appreciate the information.

Yes.

Here’s the web address:

Just type in the case number and hit the search button to get started.

JW - do I track that case on OCC’s website?

Scott, I don’t see a permit for 20. I see one in 29 to the south of you.

I do see the location exception, but no ruling on it yet. Also see the multi-type order, so looks like a horizontal is coming. August may be a bit too soon. Hang in there, I think it will happen.
