Hi New to Lincoln County Blog. I have mineral interest in Section 30 15N 5E and have a lease offer from Equal Energy. I am not familar with Equal. Can anybody tell me who they might be leasing for? Any idea of going bonus rate? thanks Larry
I have some mineral rights in S/2 of Section 21,Township 16 North,Range 2 East and N/2 of Section 28, Township 16 North, Range 2 East of Lincoln Co.
Does anyone know of any drilling close to this area? Is most of this natural gas that they are going after? I am being offered a fairly high price per acre to sell my rights and I am just trying to get some legitimate information about whats going on there. I live in Tampa Florida.
Hi,in August i leased in Sec 14,Township 16 North,Range 3 East Lincoln County $175 acre 3/16 royalty with Reagan Resources OKC and just got a offer to sell Monday for $1000 acre from Ferrelloil Company OKC
What is the offer and who is offering? This information can help to determine if they are a reliable company.
Larry you might read the comment wall on this forum and you can see some of the bonuses that have been paid. You might contact Calyx and see it they are interested in leasing. We leased in July with them,16N-6E no problem with the clauses we wanted, even gave a bonus with a 1/5 and we even talked for just 3 years, it seems everyone trying to lease wants a 3 yr option.
Richard Did you get a Depth clause? Also What other clauses did you ask for?
Equalenergy out of oKc has made the offer. From 0 to 125 dollars an acre depending on 1/2, 1/8 or 3/16 production
Shayne, how many acres do you have?
Larry we leased 20 ac, 10 at 1/5 $100 and 10 at 3/16 175 ac. 3 year no option years, No production cost clause and depth clause. There was another company leasing all around in that area, Viper, could not find who they were leasing for and only going $100 for 3/16 and wanted the option years.
Hello everyone, this is my first time on, so I’m fumbling through. Just wanted to see if anyone has had a call from R.D. Marcham Co. He is working for Equal Energy us inc… He said his company is wanting to lease mineral rights for section 22, Lincoln County. He has offered $100 an acre/ 3/16 for a 3 year lease to me and my husband who own 160 acres there.
Jo Ann first of all welcome to the forum. It would be helpful for the township and range that your section 22 is in to get a better idea to check on leases and activity in the area.
JoAnn according to the OCC website Egual has some activity in the area. They have the major paperwork done and pooling done on two or three sections in the area but no completed horizontal wells which holds that lease price down. The last two pooling orders for sections 8 and 18 only awared $100 for 3/16 and $0 for 1/5. Checking the county recorsd shows the Equal is the operator leasing in the area but it shows they have only filed one lease for Section 22 so far. If you own 160acs it would seem you have a good bargining tool. I would suggest you call Calyx and see if they are interrested in leasing in your area, Universal Land Services are their agent.
Richard, thanks for replying. The township is 15N-Range 5E.
I’m not sure what went wrong but I didn’t find your answer about occ website equal having some activity in the area until I came to the discussion page, I’m wondering why it didn’t show up on my home page. Should I go to this discussion page to see my replies. Anway thanks for your info, I will contact Calyx.
Jo Anne when ever you have time go to the top of this page and read the articles under mineral help and the blogs that members havr written and you will learn alot about leasing etc. If you have other questions do not be afaird to ask them there are many forum members that will help you with answers or give you ways to find them.
What are clauses you need to ask for, I have never heard of clauses. Thank you very much for your answers, they have really helped me out.
We received an offer to purchase our mineral interests underlying 17-13N-6E at $1000.00 per acre. The offer comes from Omega Royalty Co., LLC located in Oklahoma City. Does anyone have any thoughts regarding the offer and/or the entity making the offer?
deloe first of all welcome to the forum. I would suggest you look under the Okla. State treasures dept. unclaimed funds and fine the name you are looking for and file a claim online. They will not pay interest on the funds held. It may take a few months for the process but I have recovered funds held twice using the internet. Good Luck…
Hi. I don’t think I’ve ever commented in this Group, although I do read it from time to time. My sister, brother & myself have inherited minerals in Lincoln County, as well as Garvin, which is where I usually ask many questions!
We recently uncovered exact land descriptions for the tracts where we have interest in Lincoln Cnty, so my question is do any of you know of activity in: Sec 03 14N3E, Sec 11 14N4E, Sec 29 14N5E, Sec 34 15N2E, or Sec 24 15N4E? Thanks.
Any interest or activity in Section 21?
