Tom,

Here is the map for the ROSS wells.

http://imaging.occeweb.com/AP/CaseFiles/OCC4328249.PDF

The circles at the top of section 29 that are not colored are the new wells. Don’t get the lines showing the well names mixed up with the laterals.

The little yellow dots are the end of the producing wells. Look at the THOMPSON well as an example.

Do you have mineral interest in 29, 30, and 31. If you don’t mind, how much do you have. It seems most people have maybe 5 or so acres spread all over. Those that have a couple of hundred don’t seem to come on the forum.

I’ll get some info together so you can look a the maps if you can go to this website. http://imaging.occeweb.com/imaging/OAP.aspx

The OCC does not have any thing for the iPad right now.

Tom,

Here are some instructions on how to find the maps. Let me know what happens.

Tom,

Go to this website http://imaging.occeweb.com/imaging/OGWellRecords.aspx

There are only 3 entries to make on this page

LEGAL LOCATION – enter section/township/range 2904S05E

API # - 069 for Johnson and 095 for Marshall

EFFECTIVE/APPROVED DATE – 1/1/2012 12/31/2013

This is will show all the activity in 2904S05E during the date range entered. Look down for the ROSS wells. The 1000 document are the drilling permits and the 1000A are the spud reports. Look for one of the 1000 documents for one of the ROSS wells. Select the ID. Now you have a drilling permit for the well. Go down to the bottom and look for PENDING CD in all caps on the left. Now look to right for one that says 3 WELLS. You should be looking at CD 201206238. Write this number down so you can use it in the website below.

Go to this website http://imaging.occeweb./imaging/OAP.aspx

at the top you will see Case #. Enter 201206238. Now highlight the number by clicking the left mouse button and moving the mouse over the number. Now hit Control –C to copy this number. Now go to SEARCH and look for the CASE documents.

You want to look at the EXHIBITS, only one of these will be the maps so you will have to look at all of them and that is why you copied the case number. Click on the ID of one of the case numbers. If it is not the maps click on the ARROW near the upper left hand corner of the screen. You will see the message WEBPAGE HAS EXPIRED, click on the arrow again and you should be back to the form. Go to the CASE # again and enter CONTROL V. This will copy the case number again and then repeat the search and look for the next EXHIBIT until you find your map.

Let me know what happensJ

Tom,

Software must be downloaded and installed from http://www.occeweb.com/Orawebapps/OCCOraWebAppsone.html

Wonderful map. I sure he they drill increased density wells for the Thompson well. Can you explain where on the OCC website I can go and find the maps like these? So, it looks like the mercer’s wells horizontal laterals do not spread out that much. Maybe they will need to drill more wells to get to what they won’t with the other wells. Wishful thinking on my part I know. Tom

Tom,

Here is a diagram of the 4 Mercer wells. They begin in 31, but production willl be from 30. Notice that the THOMPSON well in 31 is very close to one of the MERCER wells. When the go to frac that MERCER well, they will shut down the THOMPSON well until the fracing is completed.

The first check is from the date of first sale/date of first production.

XTO usually goes back a gets an Increase Density for additional wells.

Tom,

What happens when you select the website?

Tom,

Just and iPad. No e-mail.

Tom,

I’ll be up in Canada all next week.

Tom,

If your first royalty check was passed 6 months from the first date of sale, your are entitled to 12% statutory interest from XTO for all royalties from the first date of sales. Just go to the XTO website

https://secure.pds-austin.com/xto/intro.asp

and ask for the the Statutory Interestl.

I don’t know where the Chapman Ranch is located. What section township and range?

Ron,

Yes, the BHL is the glory hole.

Tom,

I would look at the royalties you are getting now and get a per-acre, per-well royalty figure and then multiply it by the number of acres and the number of wells you expect them to complete. This will just be a guess and there are so many varialbes, but you should end up with a pretty good check.

Tom,

I forgot to tell you that Oklahoma has a 12% statutory interest penalty on late royalty payments. This means that you can get 12% on all royalties from the first date of sale, if your first payment check is more than 6 months after the first date of sale. I got this on both of our wells. You must go to the XTO webstie and ask for the interest.

How are mineral owners paid for a horizontal well when the rig site is in a different county, section, range or twp than where the bottom of the hole is located? Do only the mineral owners receive checks that own interest in the section where the “bottom of hole” is located?

Daniel, you had asked me if I had interest in the sections 29,30 and 31. Yes I do. For the Thompson well, my net interest is 10.833, for the Ross wells net acres are 8.66, for the Chapman Ranch well the net acres are 2.166 and for the Mercer wells the net acres are 2.116. With the oil and gas records you have access to, what would you say my Thompson and Ross wells should pay per month? Thanks, Tom

Tom,

I guess they should pay somewhere around $500 or more per month each. It depends on the price of oil, the price of natural gas, and if they changed how much they produce each month.

You can wait on contacting XTO for the interest, which will make the check larger. Have you received Division Orders (DO) for these wells? The DO will have your SSN on it and your mineral interest as a percentage of the acreage and percent of royalties. You need to sign these and send them back to XTO so they can tell the IRS how much you made and send you a 1099 for taxes.

Tom,

That’s better news than I got today. Seems XTO does not have my well on there drilling schedule for 2013. I can’t imagine when they will have the other section secheduled.

What section and county is the Chapman Ranch located?

Anyone with any info on the Butler 1-6H5? There was a Spud report issued on 09/28/2012, but I have seen nothing since then.
