Thanks, Clint!!!
Hello Martha,
At this time there isn’t a well and production map for a lot of counties in Texas. Cass County is 1 of those counties. This information was for the top 80 producing counties in Texas.

The Federal Reserve Bank Beige Book is a report of economic activity published 8 times a year. The current edition talks about the economic impact of the Marcellus Shale in western PA and Ohio.

Aaron, It depends what the document said that created the executive rights.
Rent or not, it is still income. Yuck!
Aaron, I was notified of the signing. Since they had to locate me, it took a little time but one they got my info, I received my payment. I had no say and that is my understanding of the process.
Diana Taylor & Martha Broom,
I noticed you have leases with Firewheel. My family signed a lease with Firewheel in September, 2012 and Firewheel has not applied for drilling permits.
Do you know if Firewheel has registered your leases with Mitchell County? If not, could they have flipped the leases?
Ferrell,
I have tried to get in touch with Ben Ryburn at Firewheel in Midland. Phone #432-682-6800. He is the senior landman and partner in the business. He has not returned my calls which were about 6 weeks ago. Since then, my father has been ill and I have not had time to pursue this further. I encourage you to call and try to find out what is going on! Pls. let me know if you get any answers.
I saw this today, an earthquake, 2.9 on the Richter scale, 150 miles south of the Louisiana coast in the Gulf, 6.2 miles below the surface. I have never seen a fault line in that area. I’ll bet there is “a whole lotta fracking goin’ on”.
Firewheel is selling out of Mitchell County, I am told
DJ
Check the courthouse records at www.edoctecinc.com for current assignments to other companies. Don’t do a name search do one by dates.
Dena, does that mean Firewheel is selling the rights to another company?
Sharon G.
If Firewheel is selling now, they could be selling for a short term gain to help with cash flow in the company. They could be taking a quick profit, or their investors do not see the quick buck that they thought. There may be lots of reasons behind such a move.
I was told that Mitchell county has become unpopular. Has anyone else heard that and reasons behind it?
There hasn’t been any really successful wells completed in Mitchell Co. to this point. The best well in the northern part of the play is the H&H well completion by Firewheel in Sterling Co.
I was told Firewheel like Mitchell, they just don’t the ability to run enough rigs to keep up with leases. Going to focus on Sterling, not condemned at all. Range announced a 450 barrel per day well in Fisher Cty today…not bad. They can’t all be H&H.

The Webb well produced an avgerage of 124 barrells a day and 98 CFM per day. Sounds pretty successful to me.
James A. Hall, How did you find out what the Webb well produced?
Diana,
I believe they are still trying to get everything leased up at a low price before test well results become known. We received an offer from an oil company 3 days ago to purchase our minerals ( already leased ) . Don’t worry, it’s going to happen. It’s just going to take a while.
Here’s the Firewheel #1H H&H Ranch completion: https://picasaweb.google.com/lthomas132/March142013?authkey=Gv1sRgC…
Range completed the #1H WILLINGHAM 69 in Fisher Co., IPP: 446 BOPD, 1300 BWPD, 0 MCF in the Cline, but the decline is fairly steep on it.
