So, I have a couple of things to share. First of all when my hubby was down to the well yesterday they sent the derrick man up and it looked like they were getting ready to come out of the hole with the pipe so maybe they are about done with the drilling part on that second well. Second, we got a call today from a man representing a company that wanted to buy our mineral rights in that section 16 2n 4w. His offer was $14,000. an acre. We told him we weren’t interested at this time. He proceeded to tell my husband that “you know those wells will go down in production after a while” lol yes, yes we do! We didn’t tell him we knew anything about that. Anyway he asked that we contact him should we become interested. We took down his info. and said we would. Was glad to starting getting offers again!
Thanks for the update Linda! Glad to hear the offers are increasing in value. Maybe there were some good shows on the way to TD. As much as I like to see those rigs standing up, I would really like to see some frac tanks on the pad.
Hubby took the above picture of the Jared Wells #2&3 after the rigs left and don’t know what all this other stuff is. Any of you Oil Field people out there know what it is?
Setting up frac equipment.
Yes, our son told me the tall structures are call “Sand Castles” I think he called them. He said they are what they use now that hold the sand used for fracing so the sand doesn’t go everywhere. We had never seen anything like them before…things they are a changin! There are lots of frac tanks off to the right on location. Chugging right along it looks like! Merry Christmas All!
Fracking away started Christmas Eve night!
Well Merry Christmas!
