Jerry,
I am happy to assist. I saw some of your earlier postings and wish I could have provided assistance on those as well.
To say the least, the mineral ownership game can be a challenge at times and I question how some people are able to sleep at night, by the way they treat others.
Cheers,
WJ
To Jerry: Sign me up as your friend and I will give you my telephone # so we can talk about my experience in selling some odd 33 acres interest in mineral rights and the reason I got $10,000 ac. plus for the transaction. This was in May of 2015, I will also explain how the transaction came about, and the procedure that I went through.

Arnold,
In regard to your earlier response, please note:
1. I was speaking in reference to my personal experience and what I have seen, "...I have not seen prices in that ballpark recently."
2. The numbers I used in the example were hypothetical and in NO way implied that to be a reasonable selling price. Specifically, I used the terminology "If a person owned 100 mineral acres and sold at 5,000.00 / acre..."
Additionally, please look at my first paragraph and the disclaimer that I made. Certainly, you have a much better grasp of the OGM Industry in WV than I and are more knowledgeable on the intricate aspects of the marketplace. However, I intentionally stated that my words are only an opinion. In no fashion do I believe I was "way off", but will defer to your expertise.

Wilson, in no way was I criticizing your post in any way, I just wanted to go over with Jerry what I went through with my sale of mineral rights. It really was an exhausting experience, and I doubt if I will ever do it again.
