Are there any other forum members dealing with Zarvona? How can production fluctuate from decent to nil to fair and back again? I can only access documentation of out put by viewing online “check-stubs” AFTER the check has been issued. I do not know any other way to check on current and unpaid past production. They are sketchy in returning messages and it is near impossible to speak to anyone on the phone. When i do question about not receiving a regular check, the repeated pat answer is “the month’s production did not meet the $100 necessary to issue a check.” When pressed for a reasonable explanation as to why, theperson says “I don’t have access to that information” In going back and trying to decipher the somewhat cryptic online production documentation, I have found that even the some of those checks are 2-3 months in arears? What do they do with that money while it is just sitting there waiting to be disbursed? Any and all knowledge and advise is appreciated.
You can change you minimum disbursements to $25. Send a certified letter, return receipt with your owner number, name and request that you want, $50 or $25.
You wells will naturally decline in volume over time as the reservoirs deplete. The amount of royalties that you receive will be based upon the volumes produced and the price of products sold. Gas prices have dropped quite a bit this year. Oil prices have fluctuated.
You also might have some well shut-ins briefly to protect them while a nearby well is fracked. Most wells come back online soon thereafter.
You can watch production from the OTC tax site. You do not need a login. Scroll down to the HELP box Public PUN Search and then put your well name in the “LeaseName” box. It will be several months behind, but you can make yourself a spreadsheet and fill it in over time. Your checkstubs will generally match the oil, but not the gas for lots of technical reasons. https://oktap.tax.ok.gov/oktap/web/_/
Thank you Martha, shortly after posting, i actually received a call from Pack Energy ZARVONA’S 3rd party handler of owner relations. They are requesting a Zarvona analyst contact me to educate me and explain how production and payment works. This is good.
Martha, I clicked on the link you sent, i scrolled past login to help, clicked there and this is what i got. I may e dense but i dont see a place to enter a well name or anything to do with oil and gas??
Susan: Scroll down to “Public PUN Search”. Click on that to input the information.
@Susanstewart, it should look something like this:
Thanks Pete, I am so used to doing it that I forgot that phrase. I fixed by post to include that step.
@M_Barnes, yes, finding a direct link for this page isn’t as simple as before. This one might work : https://oktap.tax.ok.gov/OkTAP/web?link=PUBLICPUNLKP
I have the PUN number, i have the legal description, i have the lease/well name. That is the only information i can access. I was wanting to view production records. Where do i find them? I enter the PUN and hit search and this is all i get
@Susanstewart, it looks like you are using the phone or tablet version. If you just press the blue PIN number, you will get more… To save you the trouble, no production shows up for the last 12 months. From another source it looks like the well hasn’t produced much since 2020. The well may still be capable of producing as it is not reported as plugged.
@PeteR Thank you for the suggestion and for looking into it for me.
New information concerning dealings with Zarvona. I have been in contact with a representative from Pack Energy, who identifies as the 3rd party organization handling customer relations for Zarvona. They were to connect me with a “production analyst” to discuss the wells production. I now have been apprised Zarvona is “only the leaseholder” and i need to contact PONG Resources who is the “operator” of the well.
Is this pretty standard activity in the oil and gas field. If so how can these things move from one entity to another with out the mineral holders having no knowledge? Is there no obligationto keep the owners updated? Any explanation or clarification is greatly appreciated.
Also, will there be any more upcoming town hall type meetings in OK to impart education, changes, and or updates in mineral right ownership?
Correction: I attempting to research the operating company above. I now believe it is P O & G out of Houston,TX.
It is very common to have leases bought out. Also, the operator of the well may not be the company you leased with. Also very common. No obligation to tell the mineral owner.
Yes, the OK NARO board is setting dates for the townhalls and conventions for 2024. Stay tuned. The next town hall is tentatively slated for Tulsa. The convention will be in OKC.
