Spud is 1001A. Both of them are there. Everything pertinent to this well will be in section 24 since the surface location is there.
Completion form will run about four months late after it is really finished. It will be form 1002A. Well should be about done by now.

Yes, open the links and you will see the well path. It goes across two sections. You should have gotten papers on the Horizontal filing and the spacing filing as well as the pooling if you did not lease.
That is a big question. Do you have a probate of his will, any estate papers?
You can go online at the address below and do a search on his name. Not all counties are online here, but it is a good place to start. If he has deeds, they should be filed in each county. The online may not go back past 1991 or so.

Thank you for your help. I printed these pages off. I don't have anything that shows any of his stuff however we came across this by someone out there. I don't see his name or my name on any of the paperwork that has been sent out. I wonder what I need to do.

If the well starts on another section, but goes through your section, you get paid on the feet of perforations that are in your section. Each section is calculated separately based on the percentage of the whole well production.
