When I click on the CLR.htm that was seemingly posted by Chris Hawks it said something like you have just been hacked by a friend. What is the meaning of this???
Royce, there is still one rig out there and I’m pretty sure it is on the #5-6 pad. Hoping that the PA happened early on and they repositioned and started over.
hi my computer has no virus. I deleted the link . i’m sorry I put that out there. I hope all your computers are safe… chris
Google “clr alpha technologies”…you will see the article on continental resources CEO Harold Hamm

I hope so too, Michael! I’d hate to lose that well.
Virginia,
Here is the response to a recent post concerning Echo.

Has anyone dealt with Echo Energy? We have an attractive lease offer from them. I understand that they are folks who left Chesapeake, but can’t find much about them on the internet.
soonerpe, thanks so much for the comment and including the comments of others. They have offered the best bonuses for a 3 year lease. Freedom has offered close but with a 2 yr lease. Which in your opinion would be better a 2 yr or 3 yr lease. Anyone?
Hutch, the sec in question is for Sec 6 1N 5W. I signed an offer with a selection option for a lease, but a lease has never been sent as of yet.
Virginia,
Checking the OCC website it looks like the pooling hearing for Sec. 6-1N-5W is scheduled for Nov. 17. If it is held on that date the order would probably be issued around Dec. 1 and you would have a couple of more weeks to make your election. If I was in your position I would wait for the pooling order to see the bonus’s offered. If close to the Echo and Freedom offers I would see if they would offer more (also see if Echo would agree to two year lease). I would want Echo/Freedom offer to be at least $200/acre higher than pooling since pooling would not tie-up your minerals for two years and the pooling might not cover both Woodford and Springer zones.
I would go for the 2 year. That much sooner you could lease again if they don’t drill within 2 yr.
Hutch, I received an offer from Continental about 6 weeks ago, which I replied to but they never sent out lease papers, 2 more offers came in, and since the notice of pooling hearing I have gotten 3 more, all better than Continentals offer. The pooling says they have 180 days to drill, if they don’t would they ask for an extension of time to drill. With all the offers I would think that they do intent to drill. So maybe I need to do some negociating( no that’s spelled wrong) with the Oceana so near this section they probably have high hopes. What is your think on this? Anyone?
Just received a “fear” letter from RRIG Resources stating that with the drop in oil the drilling will not continue in the Scoop as the cost to drill is 95.00 bbl to be cost effective. They also state that " you will not have the opportunity to receive production checks. So now is the time to take a lump sum. First I don’t believe this and second it just makes me hopping mad that they try and take advantage of the uninformed. Clearly they are soliciting to purchase minerals. Perhaps they are right but I’m hanging on to mine. I also received that letter from Cambria seeking to purchase 17 02n 04w and still keep current monthly revenue from existing well bores, but selling the rest. Makes me wonder if they aren’t going for some springer wells in 17 in the future.???
Jennifer…I suspect you may be right about their trying the Springer in 17 2n4w since the Jerrod in 16 2n4w turned out to be such a good well!!! However, the girl in Newfield office talked like it had gone down quite a bit in production but she didn’t say if it was because of being choked back as seems to be the norm with the wells down there in that area or if by natural causes. It will be interesting to find out.
Yes, very nice of Cambria to help you out like that, huh? :O)
My family has mineral interest in several parcels in sections 3 and 4 of 1S 5W which are in production. I have well names from check stubs and some of the wells are in the Velma Sims unit. Some of the production in these sections is from the Hoxbar. Is there a way for me to tell how much of our mineral interest is held by production? I have the legal descriptions.
I got 2 more from Cambria today. A little late to the party …$4000! They’re going to let you keep well #1 and take the rest off your hands. Jen, funny how RRIG is so eager to get on that sinking ship just to bail you out!
My siblings and I own surface rights in 12, 1N-5W, and have been contacted by Bluelinegeo for permission for 3D Seismograph. They are offering $10 per acre. I am wondering if that is a fair price. Also would like to know if they are a good company to deal with.
N S, meant to mention the company that did the 3D on our surface was Dawson Geophysical Company. Not all companies do it the same and always good to get an explanation of their work process.
Yes, Kirk, they (CR through Jackfork) had offered $1500. for a 1/5 (which is what we wanted) and we told them we want the 1/5 with $1800. and wanted all the bonus up front instead of 20% then and the rest when the original lease had expired. They jumped at it so we were thinking we might not have ask for enough money. lol We also told them that we wanted a depth cause in the new lease which we also got. Is yours on 34 2n4w also? I’d think that’s a good sign that they are still interested in the “In My Dreams Well” if so, right?
