Stephens County, OK - Oil & Gas Discussion archives

Thanks Sooner!

Our first lease is up in about 2 months so that might be it

SJK

If I received an offer like this I would lease!

"Comment on Grady County forum today:

Got an offer today to lease in 6n-5w for $4500 and 1/4. Any input on Echo Energy LLC. would be appreciated."

A couple comments. Development of the area is further along than 2S-4W; therefore, it commands higher bonuses. Your will probably be pooled before development reaches that point in 2S-4W. Sounds like it would be worthwhile to contact Echo Energy to see if they are active in 2S-4W; they are one of the small companies acquiring non-op interests.

Jerry & Diane,

On Oceana, they have put up tanks and other equipment. Also this weekend, they have put up a clean out rig, unless it has other functions, don’t know, haven’t talked to anyone. Water lines for the frac’ing have been laid.

Goins well has frac equipment set up. 2 sand castles up yesterday. Their water lines are laid too.

Hello everyone! Has there been any news on the HK19 DOOM in Sec 19 1S 4W?

Marathon is drilling it…

Ed, Thanks once again, for sharing info on “Oceana”…very encouraging!

Stephens: Newfield Exploration Mid-Con, Inc.; Boles No. 4H-14X Well; SE1/4 SE1/4 SE1/4 NW1/4 (BHL) of 14-02N-04W; 1082 barrels oil per day, 4,367,000 cu-ft gas per day; TD 22,520.

Please help me understand…Isn’t 10,000Barrels of oil a day a really good producing well? what is an average producing well?

I will do that sooner! Thanks

Ed - Thanks again for you updates.

Diane…I’m sure that 10,000 would be BOEPD (Barrels of Oil EQUIVALENT) and not BOPD (Barrels of Oil Per Day) but that’s still very good totals! What well are you talking about that made that much?

Linda, look back to Ron M’s report about 7 posts previous to this one. He mentions 14. 2N 4W and production of 1,082 on the. Boles well…my mistake …I should have asked if 1,000 barrels was A good producing well (not 10,000!!)

What about if it a different formation? Do you get a bonus then?

K Dawn,

HK Doom rig is down and has been fraced, a while back. The bridge is out on that road, so haven’t driven past there for awhile. Most of the rigs are down in this area. We have 4 now. Pipelines are going everywhere.

My bro just returned from our neck of the diggings. Not much, but here is what he said.

1-1S-5W - It was spud on 5/15/14 & no new word. I have a note that said it should be in the completion phase.

2-1S-5W is determined to be gas only. It was spud on 7/8/14 and they started drilling on 7/31/14

11-1S-5W I signed a top lease on 6/23/14 but no further action

12-1S-5W Producing & can expect first pmt in Dec '14 or Jan '15

25-1N-5W is a gas horizontal & extends to 36-1N-5W. It is producing & they are drilling 2 more for a total of 3. From 25 we should get 49% and 36 we should get 51%

If anyone else has some updated information, I would appreciate you letting me know.

Can someone explain again, How it works when you are HBP (held by production) and a company decides to drill a Horizontal Well in your section. How do you get paid?

Ron…those totals on the Boles were in the Oklahoman today. Mighty fine amount of oil wasn’t it? Do you own any of that and do you know if it went to the Woodford or the Springer? I’m thinking the Woodford but don’t know.

I believe the first Boles well came in at around 1000 bbls. a day and they were singing its praises because it totally paid for its self in six months!

Sec33 T2N R4W—any activity ?
