Heard it said once, Diane…“He who never makes mistakes never does anything”. We’ve all made our share on here and that’s the way we learn so hang in there and don’t worry about them. Sounds like you got things going your way!
thanks Linda. diane
Yes it is thick enough. Not sure what the OCC is allowing, but they are drilling less than 30’ thick laterals in other horizons in other counties. Where there is a will, there is a way….if the price is right……
Is the Springer thick enough for vertically spaced laterals like the STACK play in the Meramec? NFX says it is up to 150’ thick. How close is feasible and/or allowed by OCC?
Everyone’s probably shock after receiving their last checks
S D, yes I do. That was about the time I decided to go into the hot shot delivery business (pipe, valves, oilfield stuff etc.) Bad timing to say the least!
One reason it’s so quiet is Linda seems to be m.i.a. You out there Linda Lou?
Haven’t gotten any comments for at least three days. Has everybody gone silent, or is something wrong with my mail?
$42 oil has left us speechless.
Anybody else remember that $42/bbl oil back in the early 80’s had us shopping for the Cadillac of our dreams and that was just before the bottom dropped out?? Not fun days as businesses closed and the ‘ride’ ended abruptly! Sound familiar now?
I must have waked everybody up; five comments in less than an hour.
Donna, Chesapeake pays on the last week day in the month. It should be the 31st this month.
M Barnes, I need some information on a well completed by Marathon recently. Have sent you a friend request.
A small quote taken from a report from Jim Cramer “the Mad Money man”:
Mears said that looking at the global demand for storage, there are a lot of opportunities for growth. He added that the world demand is unbalanced and the oil price will not be at $45 for ever. Next year at this time, the price is expected to be much higher.
Hutch…yep, I’m here but mom always said “if you can’t say something nice don’t say anything at all” Nuf said!
When the last boom/bust came we didn’t have any production going on. We had the mineral rights just no one was interested. At least we got to reap some benefits during this boom and just praying the low prices don’t last too long but guess if it doesn’t come back in our lifetime the kids will enjoy it.
Rick, It’s good to hear from you again!
Michael P…always glad if I can help. For the record it’s been “MRS.” for over 47 years now and very happily I’m glad to say! Of course the “Rigtracker” is a change of name to protect the innocent! lol
Michael, first sale date was 12-22-14 so they have 'til the end of June before interest kicks in.
