I think I put this on the wrong section so I am sending it again.
I received an Application from Barnes Law. The applicant is Camino Natural Resources, LLC. It looks like they may drill in 15-5N-5W and 10-5N-5W will be included.
Help, Martha, I am actually not sure what this is and would like your help in understanding it.
Thank you.
Gracie
Gracie,
Would you please give me the case docket at the top of the paperwork? It should start with 2018…
Then I can tell you what it means. Probably a multi-unit horizontal well, but I need the case # so I can read it first.
Martha,
There is a cause CD NO. which is 201807079T.
Thank you!
I am not seeing that one posted yet on the OCC. It must be brand new. What does the title at the top say? Application for…?
There is an Application and there is one for Notice of Hearing
Application for what? It should say something like Multi Unit Horizontal well, or Drilling and Spacing or something like that. Right at the top in the very beginning right under the Operator name.
It also says Relief Sought: Horizontal Drilling and Spacing Units.
There are also several attachments. One has twelve squares. Each square has the section number with Source numbers inside the square. Another attachment gives the source and under “Lands Affected” they give (in my case) sixteen sources that 10-5-5 is a part of.
Ok, I can’t see it online yet, but it should be out soon. It is the Spacing application for a certain horizon which it should mention in the first few paragraphs. First step before they will allow a new well to be drilled. The map with sections on it refers to previous spacing orders and what reservoir they were for. You should be getting more notices for the actual well if they decide to go ahead with it.
Wonderful! The hearing is set for Sept. 24th in Tulsa.
Generally, the order is:
Drilling & Spacing approval-sets the formation that can be drilled.
Horizontal Drilling approval
Location Exception approval if they want to move from the center of the section(s)
Then a permit can be filed.
Pooling for unleased folks.
I guess I don’t understand how Camino Natural Resources got involved. Are they just the driller? Casillas has the Woodford formation and Sheridan has the lease. They are both listed in the Exhibit A which shows all the the owners involved. I am getting ahead of myself but I am wondering if Casillas and Sheridan being involved does this dilute my portion?
Thank you Martha for your help.
Lots of players in there. Different folks are land companies or operating companies. Your net acres belong to you. They cannot dilute you. Not to worry. I think I read where Camino and Casillas have the same Private Equity backing company, so they are related somehow.
