11-4n-6w

I have a small mineral interest. It looks like the area is very active. Any info?

Val Connell Carter

Apache has drilled 2 wells from the middle of section 14-4N-6W ending in section 11-4N-6W. I counted 8 oil storage tanks that has been set. Production Unit Numbers have not been assigned yet, but I wouldn't think it would be much longer unless Apache is waiting for prices to rebound some.

Well names are Ellis 14-4-6 1XH and Ellis 14-4-6 2XH.

Thank you I received the Corporation Commission information but as far as I know it is not leased. I guess I should contact Apache???

I am learning more. The operator is no longer Apache but Vitruvian Exploration in The Woodlands, Texas. Val

Good to know. I was not sure what kind of agreement they had together. Vitruvian drilled 2 wells from the middle of 14 also, but went south into section 23. Vitruvian has staked a location in the middle of 14 to drill 2 more wells. Will be interesting to see which way these wells go.

Sounds good! Val

I need help. I talked to Vitruvian Exploration They were very prompt and nice. They said that in 2006 there was a Sheriff Mineral and Royalty Convergence Order place on my mineral ownership?????????? Book 3884 Page 278 We have excellent records regarding our mineral ownership. I keep a very current address with the counties that I have mineral interests in. I was never notified of anything like this regarding these minerals. Do you have a suggestion as to who I should start with to look into what happened. We never owned the land so no taxes were involved.

Thanks, Val Connell Carter

Without doing some more digging I am not sure what was going on. Here is the Book 3884 Page 278 (see attachment).

I would call the Grady County District Court Clerk's office and ask about the case number referenced in the attachment. I believe their number is (405) 224-7446.
