We have a number of questions:

With oil and gas prices rising again has there been any information of new wells being drilled or new interest in the purchase of mineral interests in this area? Our acreage was previously pooled and there is one producing well currently, but it’s our understanding the pooling order authorizes a total of three (3) wells that be drilled in this area at three different depths. We are interested in possibly selling our mineral interests, but want to wait until the prices rise to a reasonable level. Any information on all the above would be greatly appreciated.

Chisholm currently operates the Shimanek No. 1-2H Well in Section 2. There doesn’t appear to be any activity in the surrounding 8 sections, the last being in 2019. Chisholm’s future plans are unknown to the public, but you might give them a call and see if they will divulge any of their plans for the area.

As for the price of oil getting to a reasonable level, that is totally subjective so only you can decide when the price is right.
