I got a call today from someone trying to lease my mineral rights but the price and royalty were very low. The offer was $300 plus 3/16 and I told them I was not interested. The agent tried to tell me it was low because Blake Production was only interested in drilling to the Springer formation. That doesn’t make sense to me and had not heard that explanation or reasoning before. Is there a likelihood of pooling in the near future? Does anyone know what is going on there and what I should expect for offers? Thank you.
Other companies are leasing in nearby sections for 1/5th. Citizen Energy III has been filing pooling cases in nearby sections.
