I am not very talented when it comes to oil/gas/mineral rights/etc. but have enjoyed the information shared on this beneficial forum.
As I posted awhile back our family has mineral royalty (1/8) in 60 acres in 29-16N-11W.
For the past several months we have been receiving offers from 5-6 companies wanting to buy all or part of our royalty. Last night a new one entered the game with a better offer.
While we are not interested in selling a majority of what we have I am curious.
If anyone can let me know the activity in this area and what they think a fair market value is I would appreciate the assistance. From what I understand there is suppose to be a deep well drilled in our area last year and was put off until this fall/winter - but again - my talent level is minimal so I may be wrong.
