Please give your state, county, section, township and range or block, abstract section if Texas.
Is anyone familiar with the EOG currrently drilling 5 horizontal wells off one pad in the Lang section in Wilson County, TX?
Thank You
Jess, not sure what kind of information you’re after but RRC shows four of the wells EOG permitted to drill from a pad in the Lang Unit are part of a new allocation unit covering 2,200+ acres made up of the existing Lang and Waclaw units. Those wells are called the Kraken A, B, C and D.
The fifth well, called the Cerberus, that EOG permitted from that same site, is part of a separate allocation unit covering about 3,300 acres. It also includes the existing Lang unit but not the Waclaw, and added the Daly and Oyervides units plus a non-unit Troyart lease.
All five were permited as 10500’ Eagle Ford wells. Below are plats EOG filed but there is more information on the Railroad Commission’s site if you’ll pull up those permits at https://webapps2.rrc.texas.gov/EWA/drillingPermitsQueryAction.do
