I just received a letter to lease my mothers mineral right in 20-8N-3W. Very little bonus only offering a 3/16th or 1/8th.
Wanted to see if anyone else has recently leased in 8N-3W. If so, what was your bonus/royalty?

MK & P Energy and Reef Petroleum are leasing in the area. I see ranges from 3/16ths (18.75%) to 22%. Bonus offers are generally lower this year as operators are coming out of a really tough year last year.

Completely understand them offering much lower than years past. 2016-2018 I was getting insane lease bonuses. Several of which simply expired. I think they learned their lesson… hopefully not!

You could get more information if there were any recent poolings, but there are none yet this year.
Reef Petroleum offered $500 and 3/16 or $150 and 1/5. Didn’t seem too flexible on other terms though.
