A sad note that I'll pass on to other forum members. Larry Griffin passed away Aug 14 in Elkhart, Texas and his services were held Aug. 19 in the First United Methodist Church in Elkhart and he was buried in Webster, Texas Aug 20. I got to know Larry as I I live In Jacksonville which is about 40 miles from Elkhart and we have met for lunch a few times where we enjoyed talking about Dawson County activity. He will be missed by all who knew him as "Kool Kotton", the founder of the Dawson County forum.

I always wondered who Kool Kotton might be. He started a great way to help each other
