Your minerals are in the “fringe” of eastern Howard County. SM Energy is pretty active there and Legacy is nearby as well, but it’s a highly undeveloped area compared to places in the western part of the county. Nonetheless, there are some decent wells nearby so depending on how things turn out it may just be a matter of time before your land is drilled. On the other hand, if the area proves to be to risky or uneconomic, then drilling activity could slow down significantly. It’s a tough area to tell since it’s the fringe, but still a good area to be in!
