Greetings, gang.

Any new leasing in Hettinger County? My family has a half interest in 640 acres.

My impression is that leasing has dried up lately.

Hi Mike,
I haven't heard anything going on there since last Fall. I don't think there are any state lands in Hettinger County in the upcoming August auction either. My personal opinion is that the drilling is still centered farther north and may take a while to get serious in Hettinger County. We were offered a low ball lease by a landman working for Chesapeake Energy last summer but they pulled out before it was negotiated.

I'd be happy to hear about any new leasing and/or successful drilling in Hettinger County too.
