Does this mean that any costs associated with transportation, compression, etc. won’t be deducted from my royalty
The answer may depend on the state where your minerals are located. If in Texas, then the answer is no.

In North Dakota there are also post production charges. A few comments (not an attorney), ask for a higher royalty to compensate for those charges. 3/16ths, 1/5th or at least 1/6th which is usually the minimum in ND. Also strike the free use of oil and gas and water on location.
