Continental Resources sent us an Amended Division Statement for us to complete and in the “Special Clauses” section it states that Continental took over operations for White Rock effective 1/1/2023. So do I just take their word for it and sign this? I’m confused why I can’t find anything online about it and I don’t believe White Rock gave us any notice. I suppose I will call White Rock to verify?
Which state are you in? Some states, like Oklahoma, do not require an owner to sign and return a division order. However, Communitions should explain why you refuse to do and that you know your rights. Other states like Texas require them.
