My previous posts here were about Clayton Williams refusing to transfer my father's mineral rights to his living trust. Spent a year giving them every legal doc they asked for. CW continued to stall using "Community Property" saying I had no rights to mother's half. I thought the trust document combined the property. All other royalty payers agreed with me.
Clayton Williams claims they will only sell to me as individual, so I sent an offer and got paid.
I was in the process of selling other royalties to a bulk buyer, and he tells me he can't buy
Anadarko wells because Clayton Williams is claiming the same wells. Example I found was
both claim Gold North Units in A 85 AM Cooper Survey. Long story short, buyer claims the titles are so screwed up, he won't touch them.
Now, I have no choice but to sell to Anadarko, so they can clean up the title claim. I didn't do it, Clayton Williams has some deal with Anadarko.
Has this happened to any body? Is this common? How could they do this??
