Has anyone closed a sale or lease of mineral rights to Antelope Oil and Gas in Oklahoma City, OK? I have a verbal offer from them and I’m wondering how they are to deal with.

Any time you receive an unsolicited offer to buy, it is a good idea to find out the activity in the area, whether or not there are funds at the state treasurer’s office or if wells have just been drilled. Do not give an answer to a verbal offer. Always request the offer and a draft of the sales agreement so that you can have an attorney look over it. Some buyers say one thing, but the actual documents are another thing altogether. Other buyers are perfectly legitimate.
