Any activity in the Austonio area?

my sister and I own mineral rights to some property in the austonio area. we have it leased out right now. A royalty company contacted us and said they wanted to purchase the mineral rights and offered $800.00 an acre. I told them I would get back with them and then they called us again. We are not going to sell them but would like to know if any drilling activity is going on in the Austonio area. The fact that they have called twice leads me to believe something may be going on up there. If anybody knows anything could you please let me know. Thanks

There is a lot of drilling going on in and around Austonio. The lease bonus's paid were averaging $600 plus per acre, a year ago, if a person had enough sense to Ask. Get them to send you a written offer and the documents in writing that they want you to sign. Get them to email and mail you the documents that would want you to sign if you were to sell them.
