The activity I have seen reported seems to be to the north and west of the Huntington area.
I live north of Lufkin near Central school. I was contacted by a Landman who said he already has all of the land surrounding me leased and he wants my 10 acres. He correctly named my neighbors. He said, “I’m sure you’ve heard about what all is going on…” Like they had struck oil already, and no I haven’t heard and he didn’t elaborate when I asked him. Anyone know what he’s ttalking about? I just had an offer for 500$/5yr/20% off 69 between Zavalla and Huntington. This company is Fort Trinidad Investors which supposedly can operate. This guy said directional drilling and snatched a few neighbors already.
