We're in the middle of one of the worst droughts on record and it's beginning to make completing wells more difficult. Many operators are beginning to recycle the frack fluids for use in future wells. Have you guys heard of where this could impact drilling the soonest?
Good article from Bloomberg this morning:
Worst Drought in More Than a Century Threatens Texas Oil Boom
Our O&G Lease signed in March of this year includes the lessee’s right to drill 1 or 2 deep water wells on the property (each incredibly expensive undertakings) which will then be co-shared by the owner/lessor and the lessee so long as there is oil & gas production, after which the water wells will be 100% owned and used by the owner/lessor only.
I own water in the lower Rio Grande River Basin. I am looking for a lessee to lease water rights from me. I appreciate any suggestions.
