Anyone hear anything about township 10 North Range 64?

I have mineral rights on 160 acres in section 26 an I am wondering what is expected up in that area. My lease runs out in Jan 2015 and I have had a phone call already about leasing the rights. What should I expect from this area? Jerry

Jerry,

If your lease runs out in Jan 2015 Im sure companies are already calling you to get a top lease on the acreage. I would recommend waiting to see what kind of offers start getting presented in the coming months before signing anything. Email me at [email protected] so we can talk more.

Derek,

What I find interesting is how closed the system is in minerals. The owners of the minerals rights and the land are really at a disadvantage. We don't have the "good old boy system" set up to give us all the info that the producers use. We all have to work with "I think my neighbor got ...... for his mineral rights lease" so I should expect ????. I move real property for a living and we have comps, fellow investors, etc. to set our prices and demand. I feel that I am at a disadvantage trying to negotiate my short term and long term rights with the minerals rights.

Jerry,

Have a look at this website when you get a chance. It is a company i just started that addresses the disparity in knowledge between the oil and gas producers and landowners as you mentioned above. I'd like to talk more if you are interested.

Jerry,

Have other companies contacted you about leasing or top leasing the land yet? If so, what terms are they offering?
