Looking in investing in a drilling operation, but do not know a lot about this company. First time investor in Oil and Gas.
Crown Exploration may be a fine company. But, 1) you are a first time investor, 2) investing in oil & gas 3) with a company that you don’t know about .

These are rough ideas, not designed to be specific. If you really, really want to be on the working interest end of the business, i would suggest you become involved with NARO. They have members that do participate on occasion. The good members of NARO know who can be trusted and who can’t. In other words, kind of mingle with reputable people who know people. Depending on what state you’re in, reach out to the Naro (or similar organization) in your state, and let them know of your desires. One thing a reputable landman or attorney can do is steer you towards companies you can trust and steer you away from companies you can’t.
Thanks for the advice, and anything else you can pass along would be greatly appreciated. I’m in no rush just trying to get as much information as I can before I dip my toe in.
