Problem with Colorado is the new setback rules that require wells be X feet away from an existing structure. It forced many companies to focus on drilling existing permits and in areas with limited risk. There is also less activity as you moved East in Arapahoe for horizontal activity. Map below shows where activity is today (current permits, rigs, DUC/Drilled wells, and leases in last 12 months) across the basin. Most activity still in Weld.
