Are there ad valorem taxes for producing minerals in Utah?

Evidently the property tax laws in Utah changed effective October 1, 2019. Check out:

You may find the answer to your question there. And, you might contact the payor issuing royalty checks to you, and ask them if they will be taking any action involving your royalties, relative to this new law.
