Does anyone know if they have started production in the Doddridge area yet? How would I be able to look up my acreage to see if they have begun production in that area yet? Also, if I have a "working interest" am I able to pay what I am required to from the profits vs. upfront costs? Thanks. A Landman wants to buy all my working interest, and I have had much hardship in several areas of life...so if this could be something that could help me, I do not want to sell it! Is it only Antero that is currently making offers to buy? Thanks! -Jenny
You can go here http://tagis.dep.wv.gov/fogm/ and zoom in on your area of Doddridge and see the wells.
It is part of toe WV Office of oil and gas website http://www.dep.wv.gov/oil-and-gas/databaseinfo/Pages/default.aspx
Go there and look around. If you have a permit number (which you can find on the first site, starting with 017- for Doddridge) you can look for wells or permits (same structure of the number) and search that under
Database and Map Information http://www.dep.wv.gov/oil-and-gas/databaseinfo/Pages/default.aspx
then Search Oil and Gas Database and choose Permits or Wells.
The production data given for wells is at the latest for 2013, more likely for 2012. So this won't help for more recent well data.
I don't have the answers on Working interest questions. Hope somebody else can help.
