Anyone have any background on the Corps and their ability to cancel drill permits that are in "flow easement" areas? Is this permanent? They claim it is impossible to build up areas to support platforms, etc.
Mr Kennedy was kind enough to answer a personal e-mail and was very helpful, but wondered if others had any personal experience?
Thanks,
Bill
Geez-sorry to hear that. Do you mean the state or the Corps?

Its probably better that for now you don't get a drill permit, because if your minerals are anywhere close to a river or navigable body of water the State of ND will claim them and take them away from you.
I believe that this is a direct result of the flood of 2011 where most of the valley was flood. I too have mineral rights in this area and would be interested in any input.
