I work for PennWell, and I rarely actually read the magazines. But, now I'm interested....two of them write about unconventional oil and gas. Here is an article from the July issue of OGFJ on forecasting. Wish they'd write an article on the SCOOP w/ a map like they have here for Bakken!

Interesting article. Here is an article from back in January on the Woodford Shale.

I found it interesting where a Continental executive talked about the Woodford being a huge resource play and it being similar to the Bakken. The article also said, "Based on 80-acre spacing, Continental fully expects SCOOP to generate 40% to 55% rates of return at $3.50-Mcf gas and $90-bbl oil." The article makes me believe there is going to be a whole lot of drilling going on for a long time. :)
