I am in the process of doing an audit on eqt, I have already discovered shortages on production from the numbers reported to the state vs what they have paid. does anyone know where I could find the liquids volumes since the state doesn’t require them to report this since 2016?
Hi Perry, On the WV DEP Production Reports the NGL volumes are listed on the far right of the table past the Water volumes. As to the difference in the volume at the well head versus what is paid from production it was explained to me by Southwestern Energy that “The State of West Virginia DEP requires production companies to report total raw gas as measured at the wellhead. This number is different than the processed residue gas that is marketed and used to calculate the sales for which we record our revenue and the resulting royalty owner share.” Hope that helps.
That information for the liquids is no longer listed past 2016 WV no longer requires that they report it. Could be one reason they decided not to pay for it since 2017
Perry, I just checked again and all the production reports I have downloaded from WV DEP for 2020 thru Q1 2022 still have NGL volumes listed. You might check again or am I misreading something.
I have checked and it shows no liquid production Database Information I have also check the individual wells and all liquid production past 2016 is zero
Well Lifetime NGL Production
All amounts expressed in barrels

I guess it was 2015 when liquids were last reported
Perry, Here is the Excel file I downloaded from DEP. See if it is different from your example. Again the NGL’s are listed to the far right for each individual well. 2021Q4 H6A Production Posting.xlsx (927.5 KB)
thats for 2021 and two of my wells aren`t even listed 4705101370 and 4705101321 i wonder why?
Perry, I checked the DEP Database for your two wells and agree they do not report NGL’s after 2015. Very odd. Also I could not locate volume reports on your two wells on the annual DEP Production files. They are listed individually on the DEP Database and Map search and Search Oil and Gas Database and then the individual wells. They show volumes for gas and oil but noting for NGL’s since 2015. The wells I am associated with in Marshall definitely show gas and NGL volumes since production began in Oct 2020 so they are still reporting NGL volumes.
Now the other two wells start in April of 2021 showing the liquids production about the same time they began paying for them?
Perry, Do you have Microsoft Excel or another program on your computer. Perhaps Numbers if you are a Mac guy like me. If you want to share well numbers I could look up the volumes and forward. Let me know.
I have all the gas production numbers but i`m looking for a way to get the liquids volumes that are missing and never paid for
